Our Mission Is Clear
The Foundation of Franchising In Africa was set up primarily to Encourage, Empower, Support and Enfranchise the woman of Africa by introducing them to local and international franchising opportunities.
The franchise opportunities are selected for their ability to make a real and sustainable social impact including the ability to 'go beyond' job creations and into social upliftment.
EDUCATE
Educating people when it comes to franchising is key. It is the foundation stone that allows us to build powerful business structures
ENCOURAGE
Encouragement is the first step to giving people the confidence to step into the world of entrepreneurship. With Encouragement We build confidence
EMPOWER
We empower those who need it most with the skills, knowhow and the tools to build and grow a business that will go on to tranforming their lives
ENFRANCHISE
Franchising is one of the most powerful forms of enfranchisement for those who find themselves 'trapped' in difficult circumstances.
YOUTH FOCUS
Youth unemployment across Africa is extremely concerning, not only for the individuals but for the continent at large.
Giving young women an opportunity to start their own businesses, gain employment and learn new skills is high on our agenda.
Working closely with our local and international franchise networks we are specifically sourcing, vetting and supporting businesses who pledge to prioritise the selection, recruitment and training of the young women of Africa.

Importantly this includes training in traditionally male-dominated fields like technology and engineering.

The Numbers That Motivate Us To Make Change Happen
The Women of Africa have the potential to build a fundamentally strong entrepreneurial culture across the continent. FFIA is giving many of these women an incredible head start by matching them up with world-class local and international franchise brands. These brands are commercially proven and provide the support and education needed to ensure sustainable success.

The Systems and processes within franchising have already proven to be incredibly powerful in creating strong and sustainable economic upliftment.
Franchising is one of the business world's most successful business formats. It allows rapid growth whilst always ensuring that the 'money stays in the community'.
There is a circular vested interest for all parties to ensure the success of the business and as such Franchising creates an incredibly supportive environment for franchisees to thrive in.
Its power to create jobs, uplift communities and transform outcomes is unmatched and our intention is to use this tried and tested formula to educate, encourage, empower and ultimately enfranchise the women of Africa.
